Film at the Heart of Project CREATE
Project CREATE has produced a rich collection of films that document its journey into arts-based adolescent mental health research. These films offer a compelling window into the evolving themes, questions, and discoveries that have shaped the project.
Film has been central not only as a method of documentation, but as a creative tool for expression and collaboration — especially in amplifying the voices of our Young Persons’ Advisory Group (YPAG) and regional workshop participants. It has also provided opportunities to collaborate with Our Creative Connection and A-level interns from West Yorkshire, whose contributions have added depth and diversity to the storytelling.
Through their perspectives, you'll encounter films that reflect the lived experiences, insights, and emotional landscapes of young people navigating mental health and research.
